Specific allergies, gluten free, nut free, kosher or vegan we can handle just about any request and still produce a delicious cake that you and your guests will find delightful. Simply let us know in our contact form below and we will share options with you.

Delivery policy and fees2020-01-20T15:50:27-05:00

Deliveries within Toronto and the GTA range from $55.00 and up. The delivery fee will be assessed when placing your order.

Pickup is also available at no extra cost.

For highly complex cakes, stands, or structures – a setup-fee may also apply in addition to the delivery fee. This will be assessed during your consultation.

For all orders, 50% deposit is due at time of order, with the remainder due 4 weeks in advance of delivery.

Deposits and/or setup fees may also apply for displays, structures, or equipment that have been incorporated into your cake or overall presentation. These deposits will be returned upon undamaged and timely receipt (2 Days Maximum) of the materials back to our bakery.

How do I order a custom cake?2018-12-07T14:07:12-05:00

Congratulations on your upcoming celebration! We recommend that you contact us at least 1 month in advance of your delivery or 2-4 months before your wedding to ensure availability. To begin the process, we’ll schedule a phone/web/in-person consultation to discuss the design details of your celebration cake. We would love to see your Pinterest boards and inspirational images too, so feel free to send those over prior to our meeting. After we have had a chance to discuss your vision and come up with a showstopping design, flavor combination, and unique details we will proceed to the next steps which would include pricing and saving your date with a 50% deposit. Four weeks prior to your delivery we will request the balance of the invoice, and on your celebration date, we will proudly have your cake ready for you and your guests.

Because every cake we create is one-of-a-kind, we do not have standard pricing. After an initial design consultation, we will provide you with a quote for the cost of your cake based on the size necessary to accommodate your guests and execute your vision. Our cakes start at $11.50 per serving, and prices range depending on the size and intricacy of the cake design.

Cake Contract and Order Policy
This Cake Contract (the “Agreement”) is entered into by Sucré located in North York, Ontario and (the “Client”). Sucré agrees to deliver cake(s) as agreed upon and on time. The client agrees to pay Sucré for the production and delivery of cake(s). The following terms and conditions apply:

1. Only the Client(s) or their wedding planners are authorized to place an order or make changes to the Agreement. No other individual (e.g. mother, father, mother-in-law, father-in-law, sibling, relative, friend, etc.) shall contact Sucré directly regarding the order.

2. The size of the tiers will be adjusted to accommodate the correct number of servings based on an industry standard slice of eight (8) cubic inches, four (4) inches high, one (1) inch wide and two (2) inches deep. Sucré is not responsible for a shortage of cake due to incorrect guest counts or failure to cut industry standard sized slices.

3. A nonrefundable deposit of 50% is required to place an order and secure a delivery date. The remaining balance is due one (1) month prior to the delivery date. Any changes to the order are subject to availability, and must be made in writing no later than one (1) month prior to delivery and may incur additional charges. If an order is placed less than two (2) months prior to the delivery date, the entire amount of the contract is due the date the order is placed.

4. Payment can be made via email money transfer to “[email protected]”, or via Cash.

5. For cancellations within one (1) month prior to the event, the entire amount of contract is still owed to Sucré.

6. Delivery fee is not included unless otherwise stated. Client will provide clear delivery instructions to location and inform Sucré of any adverse conditions or obstacles that may hinder the delivery and affect the quality of finished cake(s). After satisfactory delivery and set up by Sucré, Client assumes full responsibility for the condition of the cake(s). If Client elects a representative to pick up and set up the cake, Client assumes full liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Sucré possession.

7. Outdoor Delivery Disclaimer: Client understands that Sucré is not responsible for the condition of products following outdoor setup. Due to the effects of outdoor weather conditions, table on unlevel ground, wind blowing undesirable atmospheric items (e.g., dirt, leaves, or branches), sunlight, insects and other wildlife, it is understood that products such as icings, fillings, cake decorations, etc, may not hold up and cannot be insured past satisfactory delivery.

8. Sucré is not responsible for any damages to the cake caused by a guest, caterer, or any other person not employed by Sucré. Client agrees to make arrangements for a proper and secure environment for the cake.

9. Client assumes full responsibility for the event guests and agrees to indemnify and hold Sucré harmless from and against all bodily injury, property damage or consequential damages.

10. Client assumes full responsibility for making sure all non-edible cake décor, including but not limited to, sugar flowers, are removed from the cake before it is cut and served. Sugar flowers are made from edible materials but are not intended for consumption as wires are added for strength and flexibility to achieve a more natural look. DO NOT EAT DÉCOR.

11. Sucré products may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, cocoa or other allergens. While every precaution will be taken in the cases of known allergies, it remains the full responsibility of Client to inform guests of possible allergens. Sucré is not responsible for any allergic reactions.

12. All rental items must be returned within one (1) week from the event. A $25 late fee will be assessed for each day late and a $100 replacement fee will be charged should any parts be damaged or not returned.

13. Sucré offers Client a one-year anniversary tier as a gift for all wedding cake orders. Client is not charged for this item. To redeem this gift, Client must notify Sucré a minimum of two weeks in advance and must be picked up during regular business hours. If Client is unable to pick up, a messenger or delivery service must be arranged by Client at the Client’s sole expense.

14. Sucré reserves the right to use any photographs of the finished cake for promotion without compensation.

15. Sucré promises a product of high quality and service, but is not liable for unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, transportation problems, illness, accidents, labor disputes or strikes, Acts of God, and other causes beyond reasonable control. A delay in transit shall not constitute grounds for a discount or refund.

16. The inspiration and ideas drawn in Client’s sketch(es) are presented as representations of the cake(s). The actual product may vary based on the designer’s creative interpretation or structural necessity of the cake(s), while maintaining the integrity of the overall look of the cake(s).

DISCLAIMER: By paying for this cake you agree that certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability, structural integrity or other certain emergencies. By paying for this cake it is an act of signing this contract that is legal and binding to the fullest extent of the law.

ITALIAN MERINGUE BUTTERCREAM: We choose to use the higher quality, more finicky Italian method for a silky texture that is light and not too sweet. It also provides a firm hold and stunning result on all our cakes that specify buttercream.

MARSHMALLOW FONDANT: We make our own specialized marshmallow fondant in-house since it tastes better. It is a little more labor-intensive, but oh-so-high-quality

DUTCH PROCESS COCOA: Imported high quality alkalized powder made from 100% cocoa. No added sugar and suitable for vegetarians.

GRASS-FED BUTTER: Moo! Tastes nuttier with a far creamier texture, this is what gives our cakes a delicious “mouth-feel”

LOCALLY PRODUCED FARM-FRESH EGGS: Our friends in Mount Forrest, Ontario help provide us with the freshest and most golden yolks

PURE VANILLA BEAN: Pure Madagascar vanilla, extracted in-house straight from the bean

CANE SUGAR: Characterized by its sweeter aftertaste and fruity aroma vs standard beet sugar, we use sugar made from sugarcane for better caramelization and more uniform results

ARTISANAL CREAM CHEESE: Locally sourced cream cheese is what goes into every carrot and red velvet cake that leaves our bakery

BELGIAN COVERTURE CHOCOLATE: Coverture chocolate is very high quality and contains more cocoa butter than baking or eating chocolate. This gives our chocolate more sheen, a firmer “snap”, and a creamy mellow flavor. We use the finest Belgian chocolate in all our cakes and goodies, which makes traditional items such as cookies a true gourmet treat.

SELECT CALIFORNIA NUTS: Imported. We even make our own almond flour from these delicious nuts for our french macarons

PREMIUM ITALIAN ESPRESSO: 100% Arabica beans, ground only at the time of need to maintain a lingering crema and round flavor throughout the baking process

We’d love to be the showstopping centerpiece at your celebration – we gladly offer birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, gender reveal cakes, bridal party cakes, groom’s cakes, corporate event cakes, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah cakes.
